Community Synergy
Where Music Brings People Together
Welcome to Community Synergy, a multicultural music school built on a simple belief: music is more meaningful when it is shared.
We believe music education is not only about learning notes, techniques, and repertoire. It is about discovering creativity, building confidence, developing discipline, making connections, and experiencing the joy of creating something together.
Our school welcomes students of all ages and backgrounds—from children as young as four to adults—and provides a supportive environment where everyone can discover and develop their musical abilities.
Whether a student is taking a first lesson, preparing for a performance, or simply looking for a joyful way to connect with music and others, there is a place for them at Community Synergy.
Music Education for Every Age and Every Level
Every student is unique. Children learn at different speeds, have different interests, and develop different strengths. Adults also come to music with their own experiences and goals.
That is why we believe music education should be flexible and personal.
Community Synergy offers private lessons in a variety of instruments, including: Violin, Viola, Piano, Flute, Clarinet Saxophone, and more.
Private instruction allows students to receive individual attention and develop their skills according to their age, experience, abilities, and goals.
For students who enjoy learning with others, we also offer group violin lessons and woodwind group lessons. These classes provide an opportunity to develop musical skills while learning cooperation, listening, rhythm, and ensemble awareness.
As students progress, they can participate in orchestra and ensemble programs, where they experience the excitement of making music together.
Meet Our Music Instructor: Samuel Boruszko
At the center of Community Synergy is Samuel Boruszko, a professional musician whose experience extends across performance, composition and conducting.
Samuel is a professional multi-instrumentalist, playing violin, viola, piano, flute, and other instruments. His experience with multiple instruments gives him a broad understanding of music and allows him to approach teaching from a variety of musical perspectives.
But Samuel’s work goes beyond performing. He is also a composer and conductor.
His experience as a composer and conductor is especially valuable to students. He can create and arrange music specifically for different ages, abilities, and levels of experience. This allows students to perform music that is challenging enough to help them grow while remaining accessible and enjoyable.
Rather than expecting every student to fit into the same musical program, we can adapt the music to the students.
A beginner can have a meaningful part that matches their current ability, while a more advanced student can take on greater musical challenges. When these parts come together in an orchestra, every student can contribute to the final performance.
From Learning an Instrument to Making Music Together
One of our goals is to help students see the connection between individual practice and orchestra performance.
Private lessons provide the foundation. Students develop technique, music reading, rhythm, intonation, dynamic and musical interpretation.
Group classes then introduce the experience of playing with others. Students learn to listen, follow, communicate musically, and work as a team.
Through orchestra and ensemble programs, these skills come together. Students discover that their individual contribution matters, but that the most exciting musical experiences often happen when everyone works together.
As a conductor, Samuel helps students understand this bigger musical picture. They learn how individual parts interact and how an orchestra can transform many different voices into one musical expression.
Music Created for Our Students
One of the unique features of Community Synergy is the ability to create and arrange music for students at different levels.
A piece of music should not simply be something students are assigned to play. It should give them a reason to be excited about making music.
Samuel’s experience as a composer allows the school to develop music that can be adapted for different combinations of instruments and different levels of musicianship.
This creates opportunities for students with different abilities and instruments to perform together.
It also means that students can experience the special excitement of performing music that has been thoughtfully arranged for their group.
Families Are Welcome
At Community Synergy, we believe parents and families are an important part of a child’s musical journey.
Parents are warmly welcome to join classes and performances together with their children.
Parents can observe their children’s learning, participate when appropriate, and share the excitement of rehearsals and performances.
We believe this family involvement makes music education more meaningful. Children feel supported and encouraged, while parents have the opportunity to see their children’s confidence and abilities grow.
Our performances are more than opportunities for students to demonstrate what they have learned. They are occasions for families, teachers, and the community to come together and celebrate the students’ accomplishments.
A Multicultural and Multilingual Music Community
Community Synergy is proud to be a multicultural music school.
We welcome families from different cultural backgrounds and believe that diversity makes our musical community stronger and richer.
English, Spanish, and Mandarin can be used in our music community, helping students and families feel comfortable, understood, and welcomed.
Music itself is a universal language. People from different cultures may have different traditions, experiences, and perspectives, but they can come together through a shared musical experience.
We hope Community Synergy can be a place where those connections happen naturally.
More Than a Music School
Our name, Community Synergy, reflects what we hope to create.
Synergy means that when people work together, the result can be greater than what each person could accomplish alone.
That idea is at the heart of our approach to music.
A violinist, violist, pianist, flutist, clarinetist, or saxophonist may each have a different sound. A young beginner and an experienced adult musician may have very different levels of ability. Families may come from different cultures and speak different languages.
Yet when they learn, listen, practice, and perform together, those differences become part of the beauty of the music.
We want students to experience not only the satisfaction of improving their own skills, but also the joy of contributing to something larger than themselves.
Our Vision
At Community Synergy, our vision is to create a welcoming place where people can:
Learn — Develop strong musical foundations and lifelong skills.
Create — Explore creativity through music, composing and conducting.
Perform — Gain confidence and experience through group and orchestra performance.
Connect — Build friendships and meaningful connections through music.
Share — Bring families and people from different cultures together through a common love of music.
From a four-year-old discovering an instrument for the first time to an adult rediscovering a passion for music, everyone has a place in our community.
Come Make Music With Us
Whether you are looking for your child’s first music lesson, a new instrument to explore, an opportunity to perform with others, or a welcoming musical community for your family, we invite you to become part of Community Synergy.
